crazy ebay auction

I have one to, bought it for waaaaay less than the auction price. If anyone is interested in one, ill take a third of the sellers starting price.........

Wow the seller even wants the buyer to pay $25 shipping. Guess he isn't making too much on this cue.

i have one similar that my father brought back from okinawa. He was stationed there during the early 60s. My cue is black stained with a brass end ball, and is warped to hell. But still a nice conversation piece.

More then likely that price is to attract attention, which it has. Also notice there is "Make Offer" option, I'm willing to bet they would take alot less.

walking cue

Although this is one of the cheaper ones ive seen, there were some made in the early 1800 in Europe that have a Ivory ball or carved Lions head on the butt end with a ivory joint and and the point of the cue was also Ivory. I saw one come up for bid on German ebay, I made a last min bid for 600 euros and was over bid. I contacted a friend and found out that the cue was later sold to a collector here in the US for about 2500 so there are some out there that are indeed worth the price, but not this one. If I run across the pics again I will post them.

most importantly...

"This cue has great historical value"

I wonder if the seller can elaborate, in the friggin' least, about this. C'mon, he was barely smart enough to come up with that line of BS in the first place :o

cue

I think it is $49.00. He just diddn't lift his finger off the 9 fast enough.
