Don't think i could fade his slow play and constant stair.

You might want to look into Bay Billiards. It isn't in Crystal Lake but Fox Lake, maybe a 20-30 min drive.
I will have to look in to that i am riding there with my boss so i will have to take a cab to where ever i go.
There is a poolroom called Slates, which I believe is in Crystal Lake, or very close by. I've played there a few times, but it was 10 years ago. Check the phone book.
