I finally managed to get the stream and I noticed instantly what looks like slot machines in the background.

Did they put the event into an area that the general public in the casino can stumble into it and see pro pool? That is brilliant, the game will get some extra exposure and the stream looks way cooler as it actually looks like Vegas now instead of a sterile convention center.

One of the ways Poker really took off was making the locales the game is played in look cool. At every commercial break they always showed flyovers of the Las Vegas Strip, the outside of the casino the event was played in, some palm trees, ect... It made people want to be there in person and it helped poker grow.

Yeah, It's in the casino - You can go straight from the poker room, sports book or the pit and walk right into the tourney room - free of charge.

Plenty of seating, the room is set up to perfection. You can easily sit down and have a great seat for the match of your choice. Or you can hang out at one of the practice tables and see the likes of Shane, Ko, Dennis and other pro players.

All vendors are located on the perimeter of the room - a real first class show all the way around.

No it is not in the casino. It is in the convention center. The casino would never devote space on the gambling floor to something that stops people from gambling IMO.

From the same level as the casino you walk down a corridor and into the tourney room.

I walked from a black jack table to the tourney room in under 3 minutes.

It was nice to see you in person, John. Hope you sold a lot of cases.
