The CSI National Championship Series is holding a Qualifier here at Rack'em Billiards and Sports bar. This qualifier leads up to the NCS 8-Ball Championship at the Golden Nuggest Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Feb 13-15th 2009.

Format: 8-ball, double elimination, race to 5 both brackets, $50 dollar entry ($30 to prize pool $20 green fee), BCA Rules, $45 dollar entry if you sign up before Jan 15th, event date is Jan 17th-18th. Sign ups start at 11am tournamant starts at noon. $1000 dollars added by the house to help pay the entry to the finals.

You can also join us every Saturday night for our 9-ball $200 Guarantee* tournament. Tournament starts at 7:30, entry fee $10, BCA rules, Bar Boxes, double elimination, race to 5 on the winners side race to 3 on the losers side, alternate breaks. Prizes paid out to 4th place and above**.

*We offer the $200 guarantee if there are a minimum of 16 players signed up for the tournament. If there are less then 16 players the house will match the pot.

**Prizes paid are $200 to first, $100 to second, $50 to third and $25 to fourth if there are a minimum of 16 players to play in the tournament.

Thanks for everything. There are many knowledgable players in Colorado and neighboring states and I look forward to seeing the great turnout and roster of players that you get at your qualifier Jan. 17-18.

One of the players who recently played at your last qualifier spoke with me today. He expressed that the NCS 8-Ball Championship is an opportunity to fullfill a dream of his to break into larger purse pool tournaments and to hopefully turn pro.

THIS IS EXACTLY one of the reasons we set up the NCS 8-Ball Championship the way that it is. To offer as many players the opportunity to qualifiy for an open national championship and then an opporunity to play at the world level.

People like yourself and the other host room owners and managers as well as groups such as Accu-Stats and TAR have helped tremendously.

Throughout the years I have known many players, some I consider dear friends and have always respected those who have heart and drive. People who do not give up on themselves or the industry and treat and look at that glass in life as half full. Life is all about seizing the moment, making decisions, going for it or not.

We are really looking forward to hosting this event again Holly, we had some really great players at the last qualifier and I know we will have more great players at this one.
