Do professional players really use CTE/Pro One? That question is asked but since it is new in its current form there aren't that many professional players to point to. The answer is YES. There are others reaping GREAT SUCCESS using CTE/Pro One. This is the story of one and you can read about it by clicking here.

There are others and there will be more. CTE/Pro One is moving across the pond and across the globe.

Congratulations to the man who refined and defined CTE/Pro One, Stan Shuffett and Phil Buford who you can read about in the above mentioned story.

If you wish to order Stan Shuffett's CTE/Pro One video or take a one on one lesson with Stan concerning CTE/Pro One or his FOUNDATION COURSE, you can get more information by clicking here.

CTE/Pro One isn't just for the professional player.

Phil's a great lad and even better player.i'd never bet against him in tournament play.
He's probably the most talented player in the uk at the moment barring Dynamite

WOW! That's quite a compliment.

Thanks for the post Joey. It's great to see people making gains in their pocketing ability with Pro One. It's only been a short time since the DVD was released and more and more people are saying the same thing this young man is. Stan really put something special on that DVD. I wish him continued success with his sales and personal lessons.

You're right eezbank. More and more people and now, ACROSS the globe are "getting it".

Good article and nice recognition for Stan.

I agree. Stan deserves the credit and I hope those who utilize the information of CTE/Pro One will give credit where credit is due.

When I took lessons with Stan late last year, I had the chance to meet Phil and watch him hit a few racks. The kid is solid and never missed a shot plus very nice too boot. Congratulations to Phil and Stan!

But wait a sec...it's not exact, therefore it really doesn't do anything.

Nor does the DVD magically reach out of the screen and show me what to do.....

Bummer.

Joey,
I see it all the time but don't know how to do it. When you put my comments in your post and then go down and put in more info then somebody else's post etc. How do you do that ?

Right next to the quote button (to the right) there is a little icon. Click on that for MULTI-quotes. Click on as many as you like. When you finish on hte number you want to respond to, just click the QUOTE button and all of the items you want to reply to will appear.

You can also delete any PORTION of the original quote and refer only to that particular portion as well.
Hope that helps.

If you cannot see the little folder next to the quote button you need to change your settings. In the VERY lowest left hand corner of your screen you will see "AZBilliard vb3 Style" and you need to change it to "TECH TWO". Then when you place your cursor over the page/folder you will see it lights up as "multi-quote".

I know that seems to be the hot topic on AZ right now. Is it exact? That gets thrown into every thread.

Stan gives you a grid to set reference shots up. For each shot there is a description in the video. They give you specific instructions on how to shoot the shot. No two people are going to see the shot exactly the same. These examples that Stan gives you force you to adjust until you see the shot correctly as well as slide your bridge hand in on the correct line. When you dial it in that is "exact" for you. I think that is the magic in the system.

Yes.. where it is due. In the review section.

Seriously.. if you 3 folks want to sell used cars, please do it in the appropriate section.

I completely agree Joey A. The work that Stan did refining CTE is great knowledge for any player to have in his quiver.

I totally agree.

My post was purely sarcastic and was meant to seem silly, which is what I read in most of the threads. If you don't know what it is or how it works, then you should really stop trying to talk about it, but if you try and tell some of these guys this, they just tell you it's not exact. Morons.

Phil seems to have it figured out. I don't think he's sitting there with a protractor and a ruler trying to figure out if it's exact. The ball goes in the hole. Why over analyze it?

I couldn't agree more. I mean, why make something harder than it should be? I'm glad that we agree that anything more than walking up, examining the shot and then shooting it just makes the shots more difficult. Makes you wonder why people put in all of these imaginary lines and goofy twirling 'techniques', right? Or, to have to see several different lines and estimate my hand being on one and then estimating the pivot length on the hand that I hope is on the line that I first imagined.

It's exact in the same way that looking at a shot from it's direct line is exact, or that what I see is exact but making it is a different story.

Antagonize with more blatant CTE sales threads and I can go on and on.

I'm expecting CTE spam in my Hotmail any day now.

We probably agree on many things. It's too bad that this subject puts so many people on tilt.

Joey,

Great post. It's nice to see CTE/Pro One being "proved" on the pool table. Positive results with a cue on a pool table speak much louder than using a keypad to make negative comments. For the naysayers that means "ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS".

I've said it before, that my main problem is having this shoved in my face every day. If it were left in the Instruction area or Review area, I wouldn't care. Instead, I see over and over again these 'CTE is AWESOME' threads. It has the exact same people giving the exact same opinions.. so I guess there is some exactness to it. *cough* (sorry, it practically said itself) For some reason, I'm reminded of the server kid with all the flare in Office Space.

I know there will be the 'you do not have to read it' crowd, but that isn't my point. The fact remains that it is being pushed(and aggressively) over and over and over again in the main forum.
