Let me add, I said "essentially". CTE plus A or C does not provide a perfect 1/4 ball hit. Check out chapter 10 of the DVD that contrasts CTE to the 1/4 system.
Ok, 7 or 8 people posting no gaps, but you believe there are gaps. Prove the gaps.
You see Gaps?Do yourself a favor and do your pro1 but change the a,b,c to the gaps.It still creates an angle.(The missing link to the puzzle.)
Like I said before this is just my opinion but the fact is as you can see there are gaps and your staring at them.
Knowing this can only help, having the gaps doesn't make the system any worse but taking into consideration that your really close helps a lot.

Because there are 3 visuals where you can perceive CBE to OBE those being dead straight, A or C with the third being B. Without any pivot, those essentially give you straight in, 1/4 and 1/2 ball shots. Combining those visuals with the correct pivot fills in the gaps. A is a cut to the left, C is a cut to the right. Have you purchased and watched Stan's DVD?
Can you (or anyone) provide a shot that can't be made using A, B, or C or a 1/8 overlap?
Anthony, you say you have done your home work. Lets see how good of a student you are
I have posted a 0 degree straight shot and a 1 degree shot below. Explain to me "everything" that has changed when I go from a O degree shot to a 1 degree shot.
We should be thankful there is margin of error, also that we have the ability to add our judgment to the shot because if we had to be exact more problems would arise.
Anthony
That's not an answer to the question that was asked.
I did answer you.
You wanna be exact ?No you cant .
My post with the picture has killed any reasonable/educated response available, its over![]()
On a two dimensional diagram, CTE is riddled with gaps. In a true 3D environment (real life), there are no gaps.
One must realize that perspective illusions are used within CTE. If the table were 300 yards long, the opposite end rail would appear to converge at a point. Clearly, that doesn't happen on a 9' table, but the perspective illusion is still there (the rail you stand at appears larger than the opposite rail).
Where your logic says "gap" based on your linear logic, your eye position changes where they move one quadrant over while sighting your visual lines from a parallax angle and sliding into the face of the CB with an angled cue.
CTE/CTEPro1 have no gaps. Whether one sights an outermost OB edge, sights the CB's edge to a different target or moves their eyes slightly to sight a more parallax view, the OB goes center hole.
CTE / CTE-Pro1 are not fractional systems based on fractional overlaps, period. The visuals are based (and rely on) converging perspective illusions.

I have a house full of women having some purse party. When I get through this, I'll explain more. This is brutal.

This all pretty easy to understand for me, all I think it takes is common sense to figure out alignment basics![]()
