TR, I am just a dumb North Dakotan, but I don't use CTE. I don't personally know any great players around Montana, ND, SD, or Minnesota that do. Everyone will just say we are slow up here.

Although.....non pro players on azb the ones with highest billiard university scores are mostly system users. The winner of the run a tough as rack challenges is a system user.
In the 14.1 forum several of the high run 100 plus ball runners are system users.
Seems to me a lot of the better players are system users and they are here in this forum and they also have no problem with aiming.

Maybe the best players up there don't use CTE but some of them certainly use other system type methods. I lived in Colorado for a few years as well and made it up to Rapid City a few times.
Ever heard of the South Dakota Kid? He uses a shift aiming system, not ghost ball. He has done ok with it.

Stevie Moore participates on this site from time to time. He doesn't qualify as a best player? The same is true of Stan Shuffett and his Son. I think it is safe to say Gerry Williams is among the better players on this site. I believe mohrt is an A level player as well.

I doubt that you are dumb in the least. A bit close minded when it comes to CTE/Pro One - obvious. LOL But that doesn't make you dumb intellectually, that just limits your options with improving your pool game.

Not looking for anything better, I am a student of the game, and like to dissect things. I don't have an aiming problem, only a stroke problem. As far as the SD kid, know him really well. In fact, eat lunch, dinner or breakfast with him when he comes to town or in New Town. Oh yea I also play with Rory Hendrickson who is great friends with Shane and helped make him what he is today Plus Lee Hewagen who is good family friends of Shane's and use to take him to the pool hall when he was younger in Rapid. Good enough for you? I have sat an watched hours of him practicing and playing in Fargo. I have personally been in on a conversation with Shane on aiming. He has hit so many balls he know exactly where his ferrule is suppose to be on a shot. HAMB.

Oh yea, got a pretty damn good story from New Town two years ago, when Shane used my Josey, his cue was in his hotel room, to shoot double with Timi (his Mom) against a couple of other guys.
So since you know Mike Page, have you played him before? I am not even close to his speed, but nine_ball6970 will give you a good game if you meet up with him in Vegas, and yes he knows Shane very well.

I brought him up because your implication is that none of the great players up there use systems. If that is what you meant to say then it is not correct.
I will play anyone cheap pool Rob. The thing is that if you're happy with Gb then why not leave this section? Why do you have to be a knocker?
Let those who want to mess with systems do so in peace. Just because you didn't have success with a method isn't a reason to knock everyone else who does. Nor is it a reason to actively try to prevent others from trying it.

Since you claim ghostball is good for you and I assume at this point you think it's better.....and you obviously think that running a rack means a method is better...Show us how close you can get on that out. So far three pivot system users did ok with it. I did the worst.

Wow harsh. Also wrong. I didn't try to DISPROVE anything. Try to keep up. Have one of your doctor/professor friends tutor you if needed.
The question asked was prove that CTE is better than Ghost Ball. I did that in my opinion. I am sure with more rigorous actual testing we could prove it conclusively well beyond any individual opinion.

True, good coaches don't have to be good players. But that has nothing to do with the discussion. Nor does you running a rack of balls starting with a gaffe combination have anything useful to do with the discussion. As a rebuttal it's about the equivalent of saying "am not" with the addition of being a waste of time and bandwidth. Sad to think of the energy required to keep your useless video archived on a remote server. When you could have put some of your claimed intelligence to work to figure out a worthwhile addition to the conversation.

All you proved was that CTE is better than GB...FOR YOU.
If I made a video, the conclusion would be the same, but it's no more than a personal bias and favoritism towards using CTE.
In the past you've argued that only results should matter (making the ball), and if you stand true to your argument, you'd see that neither method is superior to the other as they both result in making the ball.
Yes I say that about twenty dozen times. In my opinion, for me, etc...

Taking the example I showed on video trying the thin cut with a gb template to guide me i missed the whole ball. Twice.
Using Cte I made the shot first try.
So with just that example FOR ME cte works better than gb.
It could also be that way for other people and the point of the video is an invitation to TRY it and see.
Unlike duckie who won't try it and says cte is a fraud and does not work.
Don't really understand why you are jumping on me here. I answered the question posed as best I can. I have another one on the way that addresses Sean's way of using gb.
