Would it be possible to add a second bushka ring to the butt sleeve of a cue? I want the first cue pictured to look like the second cue pictured.

Sure. But there is a lot more work involved than just adding another ring. The distance of the ring from the inlays on the first picture is different than the second picture plus you would need to add some length to the butt coller to make it come out proportionally correct. It may be easier to build a whole new coller.

WORD. Not to mention the fact that matching the color of the wood will disappoint you because you CAN'T without some kind of staining process, tinted clearcoat which may affect inlay color, etc, plus you'd have to match the material in the metal rings or that will look funny too. Tommy D.

I'm going to say, YES, it can be done.
What will happen is that a new pc of ebony will be added, along with the Buska ring and the length of the butt-cap will be reduced but you can get to equal spacing of the ring-work.

if i had this job what id do is take that top ring looks maybe 1/2 and cut it in half and legthen the wrap. 1/4 in then id cue the buttcap off. the inlays seem pergectly cantered to the bigger section of the bullsleeve. id get a perfect distance and add rings to the bottom and another 1/4'' ebony ring and new cap.

so you would add about 1/4'' to your cues legnth and have perfect spacing in the buttsleeve and about 3'' in overall legnth

looks like youd have a .250 ebony ring then ringpack then a 2'' ring with the inlays then a ringpack and then another .250 ebony ring.

not matching the bushka ringpack will be the biggest issue
