Hello everyone,

I think this is my 3rd time posting pics of a cue and case find trying to get more info. Man, I need to improve my knowledge...

Here's the pics (Thanks in advance to anyone who helps!):

I picked this cue and case up while out and about today. I think (hope) the case is an old Brunswick. Looks cool, but has signs of years of good use. I think the cue is/was a quality cue. I took several pictures. It had a break at some point that was badly repaired, but I actually think it good be correctly repaired fairly easily. It was glued together with a home-made tenon and I took it aprt to inspect.

The Good: It's a cool looking cue and case. I think they are well-made. All cue parts rolled pretty good on my desk. Shaft has just a little wobble in it.

The Bad: Case has some battle scars and is in need of some repair. The cue is in need of a tenon replacement, new tip, and clean-up.

The Ugly: The darn cue is not playable in it's current condition...

Okay, who can tell me something about these newly found jewels? I'll probably cart them over to the for sale section once I get an estimation of value.

Thanks again!

The case is definitely a Brunswick, probably from the 1970's. I'm surprised you can't see an outline of the Brunswick logo inked across the lid. Pics below of what the case used to look like.

The cue - I'm not sure, probably an import.

Thanks TATE. Yeah, I figured it was a Brunswick case. I just looked real close and cannot see any sign of the Brunswick logo what-so-ever. I dunno, did they ever make any without the logo, you think?

I figure you are probably right about the cue. Wasn't expecting to retire off of it or anything :)

The joint of the cue is 5/16X18 piloted.

I would like to know the maker/manufacturer if anyone has an idea. I'm not sure how much it would cost to fix. I wonder if it is worth it...

Thanks again,

J.

Jeremy...They definitely made those cases without the Brunswick logo, as I owned one. I got it in 1975, to hold my Balabushka. The cue and case are now in the possession of Atlas Billiard Supply.
