Cue ball always drifts and sits close to the rail....reasons for this??? help please

Oh, and I forgot to add, from a playing perspective, when the ball collects, "Kill the white with English" and throw the object ball. Either English works for this, and will move the rock away from the cushions with the right speed. "....You just gotta let the rock know what you wanna do with it!"

He mentioned that he thought the tables were GC 4s didn't they have an issue with crowning?

They had an issue with the end slates dropping down low, from the frame crossmember not staying secure...yes, which creates a down hill roll once the balls pass the center slate heading to either end rail.
