Cue Case ID's Needed Please Part 2 of 2

I posted a thread asking for some ID help for these two cases. One was a potential "It's George" original case, the other is similar looking to a "Fellini" or a "Gore" case. Both cases have been looked at and tested and they are both confirmed as genuine leather. I now was able to get a hold of a camera to take pictures. So please take a look and give me your advice as to what you may think the brand/maker of these cases may be worth. Your help and advice will be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

I am guessing that could be a Viking case....maybe an Adam case. Such cases were sold with different brand names on them. Definitely not Fellini, or Gore or anything like that, it's not even similar to them except that it is a tube case. This is a much more inexpensive case than those.

It's leather? I would not have suspected it is leather.

Anyway, as far as my familiarity with those cases, that one would be vinyl.

I generally don't mess with the value issue on cues or cases, but a case like this isn't worth nearly what a Fellini would be.

I brought it over to a leather/shoe repair store and the owner assured me it is leather. Thanks for the response, do you have an opinion on the "It's George" case?

I understand he said it's leather. As I said, I am surprised by that.

Edit: Regarding the value, it looks to be in great shape, so that helps. In addition, these cases often have no real lining or an extemely thin lining. The lining I see in that case is the best that those cases ever got as far as I know. To me it indicates it is a later version. That it is not so old might not help the value, but the fact that there is a nice lining does help the value. In general I would think somebody looking for one of these would prefer the better lining like you have.

Personally I would love to have a case just like that for my vintage Viking.

I don't think it's a Viking or an Adam. Most of the Viking/Adam tube cases I've seen either have wrapped ends or the Plastic caps that are stamped "Viking". Also the ones with the plastic tops and bottoms usually secured the top with a snap on the side like an early Thomas. The latch on the 1x2 looks Viking but to me that's it. Also, the Viking/Adam cases used 4 metal feet on the bottom vs. 6 on the other brands. I truly believe the 2x4 might be a real George. The dividers look correct but the interior doesn't. I have seen the shoulder strap in that material before. There's a ton of reasons why it might not be stamped with the logo but the most logical is one just slipped through production without getting it. Is it rare? Maybe, but does it add value? Not in my opinion. If anything it takes away from the value because potential buyers will have doubt it's real.

The later Viking cases had the plastic end caps like that.

But, that still does not mean it is a Viking for sure.
