Just picked this up. Needs a good cleaning. The small chuck is brand new and the large is in great shape. Might be missing a couple items.
Not shown is the 3/8 cutter with like 8 new blades (worth $250)

Inquire if available

$1200

Maybe I am missing something. But you're asking $1,400 for the Cue companion. However a brand new from Unique is $1,395 for the basic kit. Please enlighten me.

I am not Jesse, but...

You may consider yourself to be enlightened.

Not a Vocation at all I asked to be enlightened because I am in no way shape or form familiar with the machine or the various options or components that may make it worth more than the basic kit new.

This has everything the level 3 has and $100 upgrade to the motor. It also has the cutter as stated

Thank you Mr. Gilbert. That makes much more sense. I am sorry if I came across harsh. Without knowing the machine I was curious what it was that made the valuation of it what it was.

Funny. Are you interested in it or just trolling ?

I have been looking at a few various manufacturers and models of cue repair lathes as I am looking to purchase one. And I had not yet heard of your's until I noticed your ad so I looked at the unique website and could not decipher what made your lathe worth what you were asking.

I am interested but I need to do a bit more research.

This one has the big chuck, that's a good chunk of money right there. Good value Jesse and good value, yeah I am trolling and kicking tires ;)

Asking why a used lathe in questionable condition has an asking price of $5 more than new is worth asking.
If I were looking, I'd be asking also. Mr cnyncrvr, meet Mr Jesse Gilbert. Do a 'search' here and enlighten yourself.

Thanks for being yourself. Especially from a past customer of yours. You see why azbilliards and pool in general is falling away. If I can buy this packaged $5 less new I'll take one. Where do I buy it ?

The package in question costs $1695.00 and it looks like you have a few more extras. The reversible motor is an add-on $195, the 3/8 tool post another $135.
The machine is in questionable condition? Just needs to be cleaned, that is all and is not that hard to do. This is one of my favorite machines for tip repair and you can even put in cue pins, face joints, etc... KJ you have no idea what you are talking about...
All my machinery for cue building is from Unique except for my metal lathe which a Grizzly. No such thing as questionable quality on Unique Products...

Who else am I supposed to be ?
Because you bought a ring-cutter from me doesn't insure my silence.
It took you 2 weeks to come up with the money after you placed your order.
I try to do a good deed everyday.
Stifling an attempted robbery is in my opinion a good deed.
Given your asking price, I could easily buy 3 suitable lathes, without really trying too hard.
Preying on the unsuspecting is not a good way to make a living.

To quote Tony of Guerra Cues : "The package in question cost $1695.00"
No Tony, the price you're presenting is for a Cue Companion Package III.
What was being offered is not a Package III.

Sure is package III, missing a few items but has a lot more extras.
Calling Jesse a thief is not nice, where the heck is the good deed?
You are rough around the edges KJ and that is not nice, because most of the people that post here on AZB do have good intentions. You need to calm down.

You are certainly not one of them! And the other is just looking for a quick buck. I guess you forgot how you buried everybody with bowling alley shafts when you didn't know what you were doing and had no business selling that crap.

Mario,

I wish I was perfect in every way: I wouldn't haven't gotten divorced, my oldest son would still be talking to me, I would not be handicapped, all my customers would have gotten their overdue cues by now, all my cues would be 100000000% perfect. I do try to love and respect all my clients, neighbors and friends the same way and try to correct something if I do it wrong... I don't really need your crappy conversation at this time. The very few people that got bad shafts got their replacements including you. I made everybody content.
Like Jesse said, this is why people get away from AZB... Too many keyboard trollers...
