cue completed, birdseye & purpleheart

There you go again, blaming everyone but yourself. Just kidding Brent.

I always like seeing your work, and so far I still like mine the best. I may be slightly biased though.

Edit: Yeah that works. Dang thats hot. Nice work man!

:D :) :) :) :) :) :)

Brent

very nice figured wood, and great overall look. I like the brass rings too, a nice complement to both woods.

60" cue, 19 oz ,
porper ferrules, water buffalo tips, radial pin
cue is sold

added::change of plans , cue is not sold .
customer wanted 13mm minimum and second shaft has a little wobble in it.
so, i'll scrap the second shaft on this cue.
first $250 gets it .

nice work Brent...

it looks nice and clean and all, but unlike the others, I think that ringwork is awful! sorry, I don't mean to be offensive, just my opinion... the woods you used are outstanding, and then you break up their beautiful simplicity with those godawful thick brass rings. seems kinda tacky...

keep it up though, every cue you post looks better and better. it looks like the finish came out really well on this one.

to each his own :D 15/1000ths is thick???

they're only .015" thick? they look monstrous... maybe it's the combination of the brass, purple heart and white.. I don't know... just not my cup of tea.

but where oh where did you get that wicked looking BE???

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

the rings on this cue are not thick at all,i had this cue in my hands last tuesday night, great looking cue and brents finish is awsome.at the derby this year one of the cue dealers gave him a great compliment and told him his finish was better than tascarella's.

sorry to let your secret out brent, that's what you get for whoopin my behind in nine ball tuesday!LOL:D

Nice work, Brent...and I think the brass rings look great!! I actually prefer brass rings over nickel silver...just adds a touch of 'richness' to a cue, IMHO.
