Cue Components "Shaft Dip"

Is anyone using Shaft Dip for stabilizing wood and sealing shafts? Do you dip it or apply with sponge?

I'm dipping in a tank.
Haven't tried it as a sealer as I really like the speed seal.....I'm also wondering if its the same product but haven't asked joe yet

I spoke to Joe a few weeks back after buying some ivory ferrules. He advised me to get some of his speed seal for sealing shafts so i bought some and applied it like he said and it works great. the shafts are real slick now when i stroke. I also bought the shaft dip that i apply with a sponge and bowl underneath. so far it keep the wood from splitting which is a problem here in Vegas.
