Much debate over this topic. Some say its all decoration, some say it helps the balance, some say the depths of points is affecting the vibration or hit. Some say no points makes the butt more evenly balanced, some say it helps obtain that beloved forward balance??? All thoughts are welcomed??

Ok no more!! I just see these cue questions on best maker and never on best construction techinque or materials.

I can feel the difference, like night and day, between long and short points.

No, really, I can. I think so, anyway. Maybe not, let me get back to you.

MAKE UP YOUR MIND, WILL YOU? :D :)

i dont know if it would make a difference in hit or not, but 2 pieces of wood put together should be stronger and less prone to warpage than just one piece (all else being equal) so i think it would be safe to say that a cue with points>a cue with no points.

I second that.

Points...

Points are Classic...

Love a Basic 4pt w/wo veneers

6pt...Fancier...very sharp...

I've got both styles, prefer pts to none...
