I was wondering if anyone out there had heard of/knows of any computer programs to desgn your own cue prior to having it built. I think it would be a super idea to be able to fully show what you want your cue to look like prior to having it built wrongly. I wish I was still into programming and had taken enough C++ to do it myself. I designed this jump cue resembling my playing cue by switching back and forth between MSPaint and MGI Photosuite. I found some actual pictures of the woods and rings off of some cue online and chopped them together. The program would have to have all known woods, wraps, be able to customize rings, rotate 360degrees and spin, manipulate number of points, heights, thickness of veneers, colors, to make any and place inlay designs that mirror left/right, zoom in/out, etc etc. Sounds like a great idea. What other idea do you think should be included in that program if it is not available? i am sure there is an easier way to do it with Photoshop or another good graphics program. If anyone takes on this idea, I expect a full edition copy for free.
