Cue Design: Unpopular opinion?

I hate linen. Cork or smooth black leather for me. Not big on green but that cue is pretty cool.

Anything but black w/ white spec linen.

Maybe because I started playing in the 80s. Maybe I'm stuck in time. I don't know, but I am forever going to be a fiend for ebony points and a white with black speckle linen wrap. That seems to be a less popular aesthetic as of late.
I don't like the leathers wraps. The cue I have now is wrapped in black with white linen and I do like the way it looks, but I am inevitably going to have to snatch one up that appeals to my 'stuck in the past' taste.
Am I alone in this?

you're not alone. i like the basic style that cue's got with four points and a butt sleeve with windows/boxes, i like linen wrap. and malachite is for sure better than MOP, but a little gaudy. the stained wood i'm not a big fan of. even so it looks better than any predator cue for the last 10 years.

is this a production cue or custom?
