Cue design

Thanks, guys....It really is a good looking cue, the geometry and the materials, the colors. While I have mixed b.f. splices and points, it has always been short splice points. A small shop does not lend itself to the luxury of dedicated single purpose machinery, a necessity for doing full splice work. This would be an expensive cue to produce as splices, but could be done with cnc and look v.good. I like the look, though, and I might try to find a way to do something similar.

Mr Fanelli,

I was looking through some of your works and my jaw dropped. They are the most amazing cues I've ever seen. Your designs are very fresh and original. I like them alot.

Tifosi...Thankyou for the kind words. Sometimes I get lucky with a design, and it turns out better than expected.

Lucky? Yeah, you're lucky you have design sense, taste and talent. :D
You're beautiful cues are no accident.
I'm pretty sure everything is well planned and executed. :)

You might want to give Mark Bear a shout. As you can see, you both kinda think alike. His AZ handle is Full Splice. Here is one I bought about four months ago. Dam nice hitting cue. Ivory joint and Butt plate. Full splice w/butterfly splice.

Yeah it is ZIM. I may hang on to it. Welcome back my friend. Easy with the Purdy Cue business buddy. I just might respond to your cues as a real "ZIMDINGER" one of these days. LOL

Ya know, it's really fu@ked up when your ol' lady sees a cue (for the first time that you bought 4 months ago) on the web and wants to know where and when you got it. That's what happened here. I think they call it "BUSTED". She was a real sweetheart about it though. Dam I love that gal.
Purdman
I had the UPS guy drop one off and the first thing that came out of his mouth was " six thousand dollars for a pool cue ". Who do ya think was standing right behind me that time. What ya gonna do, what ya gonna do????? ;)

Hoho. When my BCM cue arrived it was detained by the customs and I had to pay gst. For me it's more of a problem of sneaking it past my mom and dad. :D
