Cue Dilema

I have this problem that I fear can only be solved by getting a new cue.

I bought a really nice InStroke case from AZ Member dacues and it arrived today. The case was every bit as nice as he said it was. The problem is the case cost roughly 2x what my inexpensive Chinese cue cost. :mad:

I guess I need to continue trolling the For Sale adds until I find a cue worthy to go in the case. :thumbup:
 
try to find a used Diveney sneakie... it will play great and you might be able to find a decent used one on here or check out indyq.com... they have a couple
 
why get an expensive one? I have a post floating around, it's "Why do we need expensive cues?" or something similar to that. It's not about the cost of the cue, it's how well you shoot with it. IMO

I don't have the $$ for an expensive cue. The case was a stretch. I got lucky because I went to a couple of local places looking at cases and my wife thought they all looked cheap so she said to look for a better grade case.

The cue I have now plays good for what it is, a $120 inexpensive cue. I am looking in the $250 to $300 range for something used. When it comes long I will grab it. I was looking at a DP on ebay (No comments on DP. I have read all the threads on the subject) but the price got higher than I was willing to pay in the last 5 minutes.
 
you bought the case to protect the cue you like. right? there's really no point in buying another cue if you like the one you have
