Cue dimensions

Keith,

I have a few matches of you. One is of the legendary set with you and Harry Platis versus Ronnie Allen (playing one-handed on alternate innings). The other is of you and Earl in the semi-finals of the 88 Brunswick World Open. Earl has you 8-1 in a race to nine and you get back to 7..scratch on a monster break and Earl manages to run out. Two great matches.

What kind of cue did you shoot with back then? What shaft dimension/ cue weight/ tip/ etc do you prefer? I'm always interested to know what the higher caliber players prefer.

Thanks,

Matt, I think I was playing with a Schon at the time me and Earl were battling it out at the '88 Brunswick Open. That really was a nail-biter. I've always had a hard time beating Earl, especially in that era. He was a very dominating player then, and the only way you could beat him was to take it from him.

My cue preference today is 20-1/4 ounce, all forward balance, with a 16-1/2-inch taper, and I like the hard Moori tip.
