Cue extension with joint conversion?

I have been wondering if there are any extensions or other products that will allow you to use a shaft with a different joint than the butt ( 3/8 x 10 to unilock for example). Have these been tried and rejected for some reason or there just doesn't seem to be a market for them? I would think that something like this would be a boon to the used cue and shaft market.

I have made on ton of them and continue to do so today. I call them Cross Pin Extensions....Here's a picture

 
Can I get contact info I would like one of your ext. I use a bal rite now but John Henderson said he loved yours.

I have two of the New Sherriff's extensions and they're great. For my part, I prefer the smaller one (2.5" I think it is) because it's a bit lighter.
