Cue for trade?

I just yesterday got a Spitz sneaky made from a John Davis blank. The pic does not do the curly maple ANY justice, it's gorgeous! I used it for about 15 racks or so, and it plays well but I can't bring myself to stray to this cue. It is valued at $500 plus I have the original shaft coming hopefully tomorrow. The 'extra' shaft with 'matching' ringwork cost an additional $150. One shaft is 12.75mm (the one I currently have) and the original will be 13mm, both with pressed Triangle tips. I'm in need of a bigger case but need it to fit in my locker at the pool room so it must be oval shaped, and not too thick. Porper makes the right sized case for comparison! I've also been looking for a pointed DZ cue, I don't care if it's been used and shows wear as long as it's not abused! I'd also sell this cue with both shafts for $625 shipped and if you've ever played with a John Davis blank cue you know they are worth the $$! It's straight and in order BUT the ringwork on the 'extra' shaft I currently have is just a little different, NOT a 'perfect match'. I'll try getting pics tomorrow as it's at the pool room now. I just got back home and the 13mm shaft was waiting for me. I now have both shafts and am willing to trade this cue for a basic 4 point DZ if interested! Pics will come later as it's still in the pool room and they aren't even open yet :frown:

p.s. Cues4christ (Michael)...I'd like to see pics of your trade offering before making any decision. It sounds tempting, but I need to see it

edit: 9:45pm EST - I got pics tonight and had to try the 13mm shaft for myself. I got to thinking...I'm looking to trade this cue pretty much only for a DZ cue, whether it has points or is a plain jane. I can work with you on making this fair for us both, I'm pretty easy to work with so if you have one you're looking to unload and would like this cue, by all means hit me up and lets talk!! :D

I got pics last night but they didn't turn out to be the best. Glare was my enemy and I removed as much of it as I could, but was unable to remove it all. It's a decent playing cue, you won't be disappointed if you like Spitz cues!

I can't believe I've had very few offers on this John Davis blank sneaky? The woods used are absolutely gorgeous! It is like NEW and has 2 shafts. one 12.75mm and one 13mm. Personally...I prefer the 12.75mm but I have smaller hands ;) Time has come to consider ALL offers you can come up with, because I've decided not to use or keep this cue because I'm going back to my 'old reliable' sneaky. So...Bring on your offers of cues, cases, Nikon photography equipment, etc. etc...Yes, production cues will be considered! Dale Perry, Schon, Mali, Meucci, Pechauer, Viking, Mcdermott, etc. etc...I'm motivated here guys, so come with your offers and lets talk!

Wedge, thank you for your offer sir, but I have a nice digital Nikon I like to use. Id like to find lenses (AF-S) or such that would work with my D3100. Sorry, but 35mm just won't work for me sir...but thank you!

Hi.I have a authentic southwest shaft (Jerry Franklin era) on a Tony Bautista solid (not cored) purpleheart butt that weighs very close to 19 oz and is 58 inches long that plays out of this world.I traded my like new schon R14 for this cue.My best friend has been playing with southwest cues for 25 years and he says the hit is just like his.I also have a 3x7 very nice looking black brown leather cowboy Instroke case that I paid $350 for it a few months ago.It has a small blemish inside the big pocket that no one will see unless you show it to them.Other than that it looks identical to the day I bought it.Looks and smells brand new and looks very nice.If interested in a trade for your spitz sneaky just let me know.Thanks
