Paul sent me the pictures today of the cue he shipped today. It looks fantastic. Large butt like a Hoppe. Butt and joint made out of Berisingha Antler. Ferrules you guessed it made from the micarta I have been selling.
Cocobola with brown leather wrap and black collars. Pauls advice and help was great. His cutomer service is 2nd to none and from the looks of it his workmanship is like his customer service. It has some great looking Cocobolo in it.
I will let you know how it hits after the weekend. If it plays as good as it looks I am in for a treat.

Someone tell me what you think

Collars

Percy sent me the "black" collar material. It's actually "sheet" dark brown phenolic. The pics don't show the unreal grain in the collars. I hit the cue:I am now building a 2nd shaft for my player w/ the micarta. It plays off the chain.
I know now what all the fuss was all about. Almost 0 deflection.
I'll set my new shaft w/ a water buffalo(hard) tip. It will be like old times.
BTW The B-horn joint hits a ton as well. Soft, but crisp w/o being spongy
I'll post some pics of Knifemakers work. OFF THE CHAIN!!
It has been a pleasure working with a patriot as well as a super nice guy!

Knifemakers cue

It' built from scratch. The old titleist blanks did not come in cocobolo.
As usual my pics really don't do Percys' work justice. His work is flawless.
