A friend of mine hooked me up with this. I’ve searched the internet and I haven’t found one in better shape. I’m just curious if anyone has any memories of these chalk dispensers.

When I was living in Lithuania, in the mid and late 70s my parents would take us to a datcha (basically a summer log house), there was no running water there. We had a metal bucket hung off a tree branch exactly like this one which we filled with water for washing. Just tap on the bottom and some water came out.

If you head to the Volga river, you may find it there hanging off a tree.

LOL ... I've got one of these things. I've never used it though. They should come with a vacuum cleaner for the table. It's more a talc dispenser I think.

Makes a mess on the table since the tendency is to over use it. If you have to use it, use baby cornstarch instead of talc, it's less oily.

I suppose there is some specialty powder you could buy also but I never looked into that, just too messy.

This might be less messy. if you need something.

That, I did not expect but the same principle applies. If I'm ever down that way I'll check the tree.:thumbup:
