Hi Mom!

Can anyone help I.D. this Purple heart Fancy Sneaky Pete cue? It is old enough to have a bit of patina in the finish, Very well made with excellent shaft wood, Very nice fit and finish, smooth cuts on all machine work. 3/8x10 Modified joint pin. 59" long. Set screw style weight bolt. nice ring work. Rings look like Ivory but I'm not 100% sure.
Any help is certainly appreciated!

My other guess is an early Dale Perry -DP Sneaky- Dale used any kind of joint screw before 2003 and the ring work is identical to a Dale Perry from late 90s to early 2000s that I sold last month- look here..... Dale repeated this ringwork in the butt sleeve just like your SP - set screw weights could have been added at any time- I have done that often on cues.

The splice suggests Prather to me ... they MAY have supplied to blank to someone.

Hmmmm could be! It's a really nice piece, I'm a little surprised it wasn't marked somehow.

DP used a flat bottom joint screw before?
I think he only used regular 3/8 10 or radial
