Actually a great geuss based on the information I provided. In fact it was my first thought. I figured it would be a few minutes or so before it was recognized.
So a bit more info here, It is fairly old and is a thin cue with a unilock joint and screams highest quality in every way.

Any other pics of this cue? Ernie has been a little hard to get a hold of but I think he is still on the front range. I have never seen one of his cues without the stylized EM. Maybe that's a very early one.
