Hello,
Anybody know what this old cue is by the sticker or joint? Shaft has a black ferrule but not sure if it is original.
I don't have the rest of buttcap.
Thanks for any info on maker and approx date.

Just on its appearance I'd say it's a late 1940s to 1950s cue. Black ferrules were commonly used. Do you have any other pictures? How long is it?
It's not s brunswick logo and it predates all the import cues. Must be a small US cye company.

I am not nearly so confident it predates the imports.

That sticker looks very familiar. I have definitely seen it before.

Ajay, Elton, something like that. That sticker makes it more recent IMHO, maybe 70's.

Based on the joint it could be as old as the 40's or as new as the 70's I think.

What little we can see of the wrap looks like perhaps nylon, not linen.

Could be wrong, but I know 100% for sure I have seen that sticker, just can't picture the name in the middle with certainty, it had one that is worn off.

I would suggest using alternative light sources to possibly bring out any remaining evidence of the letters that have worn off that label.
