The cue is a Replica Balabushka made in the Adam Factory for Competition Sports in Linwood, New York.

The cues were made between 2003 and 2006, only one of the shafts is original to the cue, the shaft with the thin ring is not original to the cue.

In my opinion $350 is kinda steep for that cue even if it is perfectly straight, $175 to $225 is More realistic in my opinion.

Hope this helps.

The cue sold $400 in 2003 & came with 2 shafts. It should have the "GEORGE BALABUSHKA" name between the points...JER

JER, when these cue were being made I was a dealer for Competition Sports, and a number of these cues were sold unmarked, at the time they were offered at a discount to dealers. I bought and sold a number of the unmarked cues like the one pictured, I do not have any idea why they were not marked with the Balabushka name, they may have been seconds. However, the ones I sold had nothing obviously wrong with them, I aways check all cues that come in for sale very closely.

Take care

Hi Craig; I sold the Adams line starting in 1998. Then, when they sold out to Competition Sports, I continued with them for a few years, but I never had one of the Balabushka's, without a name on it. I believe you & it probably was as you said, seconds. The Balabushka line was & still is a great playing cue...JER
