The lower butt on the lower pic looks an awful lot like a McD D-9

For the lower cue, I was thinking the same thing, but the joint collars and joint pin are wrong, as well as the points as I've never seen McDermott using those points. I would say that its likely to be an Adams cue.

For the top cue, I see a red dot on the shaft, so that immediately tells me Meucci since the joint collars match. I believe it is a Meucci European Series E-6. http://www.budgetcues.com/archive/meucci-european-series.htm

Are they not marked??...If not I'm sticking with the D-9 and the Meucci looks correct and I think both have been repaired?altered....Just an uneducated guess..:grin-square:

I could swear I've seen an Adams cue like that bottom one before.

The top cue is a Meucci or a Meucci knock off, and the bottom cue is a Schmelke. Not all Schmelke cues had their patented joint, and for a number of years they were selling similar blanks to the pictured cue that were unfinished.

Here is a link to similard unfinished cue that are still for sale.
