Cue ID help

I found an old cue that I believe is a brunswick but its beat up and has no markings. I took a couple pics of the points at the top of the point and the base of the point. Hopefully there is an AZ detective or 2 out there that can give me an idea on what it might be.

Thanks in advance

Throw up some more pics need to see that whole point and not just a little section of it. You might have found a winner if it is straight

Is there a weight stamp? If so, where is it located?

Don't remember, I found it on the cue rack of an old poolhall while on vacation. Thinking of buying it from them before I leave town.

Ok I bought 3 of these so I hope I don't get screwed. All 3 are pretty beat up and 2 had been converted to bridges. I'll post better pics in a little while.

OK there are no other marking on the cues for weight or anything. Here are the newer pics.

Yep, that certainly looks like the 26-1/2...in Oak at that! Nice find! This would make a great conversion.

That's hard to say, especially without a label on the cue. BBC values it at $2700/70% condition. I would say you would be lucky to get $500/ea in this economy. You would be best to have it converted by a HOF cuemaker, then it will be more valuable...but, it will cost you too!
BTW, you might be able to find a cuemaker who will make a conversion for you out of one for the price of the other two cues. If so, jump on it! If they are thick enough, these make excellent wrapless cues!

How can you tell if it's a Brunswick? I have an old one piece house cue in very good condition. Except for a exceplt for a missing ferrel and extreme yellowing of the finish, theres nothing wrong with it. I has 4 veneers (green and purple are two of them).

Did other manufactures make a simular house cue to the Brunswick Titlist?

If they don't have a weight stamp or decal, they're probably not Brunswicks. These are probably Katz cues or some other similar old house cue. There were a number of companies besides Brunswick selling 4 point veneered cues. Brunswick started stamping the weight on the butt of the cues in the early 1900's, then up in the points in the late 1930's/early 1940's. These cues also are mitered differently where the veneers end than a Brunswick.
