Recently picked up this cue. Rings, pin and then materials used scream Varney to me. I cannot remember Kevin making any veneered pointed cues and there is no markings. Anyone have an idea who the maker may be??

Found this old thread earlier, this is the cue, the markings in the wood match up identically. I guess the cue must have been refinished at some point and that is why Kevin's signature has been removed.
Now i just need to decide weather to keep the cue and get the problems fixed or pass it on for someone to take on.
