I got this a while back. I think it may be a production Palmer but I just wanted to check.

I do believe you are correct. I bought a "prototype" Palmer off e-bay a couple years ago....looked ALOT like that one.

FWIW - it played REALLY nice. One of the better production cues I had hit with.

Yeah it hits really well, just the tip that it comes with is rock hard. Kills me. Thanks a bunch for your help.

I smell rice cooking!!! This cue is certainly made in Asia, as to the model, it really matters not, the fact is most are made in the same couple of factories and just given different names.

These cues normally sell for under $100.

Nah...

Doesn't look like a Palmer...more like an Adam or Helmstetter (sp) if nothing else. Not a Palmer though. TATE is the best one to let you know about this, but I doubt very much, that this is a Palmer. My .02 cents have spoken!:p :D

Just to inform you, this would not be the same Palmer that Tate collects. This is a new company named Palmer Cue Company (if I am not mistaken). Totally different. I think someone is trying to capitalize on the name to sucker customers who may not know the difference.
