Cue ID

Looks like a Meucci pin and ferrule. Might be a very early one, hard to tell from the pictures.
 
It looks pretty rough to me in the pictures. It might be an early Meucci, but what ever it is it hasn't had any care at all.
 
I didn't see that the joint was piloted when I looked earlier.

It apparently has a stamp in the butt on the wood before the cap, I don't recall Adams or meucci having that
 
It might be an Adam, I still don't see that the joint is piloted. Any indication on the butt cap could have worn off long ago.
 
In comparing the ring on the shaft joint it doesn't look like an Adams either, much mor similar to a tascarella(not thinking it's a tascarella but merely stating that the ring is much thicker than the Adams rings)
 
I'm gonna post good pics soon as I get home, joint is brass in the fashion of older joss(thick brass collar, brass pin sleeve protruding phenolic ring) ferrule is micarta, the shaft is really nice flame maple pro taper, I don't know what the butt cap is but the chipping doesn't look like plastic. The cue really hits nice, it's balanced perfectly. It's hard to tell how old it is due to the lack of care but my guess is 60s-70s, I don't think it's an Adams as their is no butt marking and what's left of the finish shows no signs of there ever being a marking. Any ideas or directions towards the right person to identify it?
