I've had this cue since I was maybe 15 years old. I'm 30 now. It was given to me by my father as a birthday gift as I was playing tournaments every weekend back then.
I believe it to be a Meucci 95-8 .. Looks very much like a Meucci Originals 84-3. From what I've read those 2 models seem to be very much alike. I've read also that the 95-8 is a remake of the 84-3. I honestly don't know much about it. I've just gotten curious as of late to find out exactly what it is. Not that I intend on selling it. I still play with it whenever I get the chance to play. I'm am, however, curious what it's worth.
It looks almost exactly like the 84-3 pictured in the 2nd edition 84 series pic on budget cues. Same wrap color, varnished over or whatever, 2 points or vaneer's as i've seen them called. Ivory colored rectangular design work around the joint and butt. I believe it's a 13mm shaft. 19 oz.
Is there any specific way to identify a 95-8 that I can look for?
We are in the process of moving and it's at the new house right this second or I would post a pic of it. I will when I get a chance.
Just looking for any info I can get. Thanks.
