I just did repair on a cue identical to this one, day before yesterday. The customer wanted the cue to play like a good cue of the 90's era with that type of construction. This cue had been owned previously by his father and the only difference between your cue and his was. that his cue had a lizard skin wrap. I retapered the shaft with a "Szamboti type parabolic taper," installed an ivory ferrule, and put on a "Renfro" medium tip with a fiber backing disc. When his cue was finished it played extremely well, looked very nice, and despite what it was created to be originally, was an excellent example of the hit of a "straight-pool type cue" of the early eighties era (except for the 18 thread pin).
Don't let the estimated value of something be your primary concern, it "ALL" about how the cue plays!

Brunswick Cue

I actually sold a few of these cues back in the 90's. This cue was in the lower line of Brunswick cues and was made by Falcon or was imported. I can not remember that far back. You got it for a good price if you paid $60.00 for it. I think it was in the $200.00 range new, but again can not remember for sure.

This one is an Asian import, not JOSS or Falcon.

Some were indeed made by JOSS though.

Several of these sold for over $200 in the past year on Ebay. I suspect the buyers thought thy were made by JOSS.
