Cue leather wrap blanks...

IMO, 13" would be the minimum length, and 13-1/2" is better. Wrap blanks are usually tapered, about 4-1/4" or so on large end. If the blank is generously wide and there is a grain pattern to it, the wrap can be better positioned on the cue with respect to the pattern or grain. I prefer a very consistent .022-.024" thickness--not that easy to achieve.
