Cue Locker

So if you think about it, a regular customer who probably spends 25-50
bucks a week for about $2500 a year times a minimum of 10 regulars , so you make $25,000 off them, not to mention since they have their own cues it costs you nothing to provide house sticks, you would stick it to them if you provided a service like private lockers and charge them?

How about a players point of view?
I would love to rent a locker to store my cue at the local pool hall.
They dont offer this service.
But if they did ...
I would happily pay money for a locker and not half to lug my cue around or keep it in the car.

The locker really is there

That was good that you noticed one missing. It really isn't. There is just one very large locker in the middle for employees to store personal cues. We do try to take care of them as good room employees are hard to find.

the room I play at offers lockers to players. Its included in a "membership" package. For 100 a year, you get a private locker, 30% off pool time, and 10% off merchandise. If I did have a pool room that had lockers, I would prob do a similar program.

Jay, I gotta say, that I checked out your pool room, and that is one heavy duty shootin gallery :D, and to already have a top class room, and add cue lockers to it, I'm definitely going to be giving you rep points and I wish that more pool room would do this :)

VERY VERY NICE! Now make sure you have a digital security camera or 2 covering the view for that added security in case of a break-in. Showcase Billiards was burglarized and the only thing taken were cues. I can't see someone paying $60 yr to keep a Players or Meucci cue in, and in my previous work for a large poolroom I spent a lot of time having to review videos for theft from stolen cues, backroom beer and liquor theft, bar and kitchen shortages, and more. Add those cameras to the entrances and exits if you haven't got them already, and all areas where loss can occur. I would not store any of my cues on any premises unless there were proper security video in place. It would also help you remove any false claims that someone on the inside had a key and removed a cue.

After prosecuting several trusted employees that no one would ever believe to be a thief, I say trust no one, especially Mr. or Ms. Personaility.

That is a real sporty cue locker. I think someone should market that.

Finally after many years, we had made the perfect rental cue locker. I just have to show it off and brag.

It has 72 lockers - 19 small@$60/year - 28 med@$96/year and 24 large@$120/year.

The smalls hold a 1 x 1 - med, a 2 x 4 - large, anything.

Nice extra income after it pays for itself
