Cue maker identity help please

Hello, would anyone here happen to recognize the maker's signature on this cue? I'm trying to track down the maker and haven't been able to thus far. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The maker of the cue is Steve Klein. His website is located here:

I disagree. I have a cue that I got out of Chester Kricks shop and it was definatly one of Chesters cues and it had the exact same signature. Now maybe Steve can shed some light on this, but I was under the impression that Chester was making it for some one that had this name. Just my thoughts. Butterfly cues.

it IS a Steve Klien. I have a purple heart sneaky with the same EXACT signature and I know mine is a Klein

I could give you the last name being confusable, but how on earth could Chester start the spelling of his first name with a "St" as is clearly shown in the picture here? Does the signature on your Krick cue start with an "St"?

To avoid any further confusion for this gentleman and his cue, Steve's signature looks a bit different each time he signs. But this is for sure a Steve Klein cue. Here is another Steve Klein for comparison that happens to have the exact same signature:

I didn't say that was Chesters signature did I. I said I got one that I know was a Krick cue and it had the same thing on it. It was a cue that Chester hadn't finished yet. I thought maybe he was making it for some one with a name with this spelling and the guy wanted his name on the cue. I didn't really get on here to pick an argument as I said before, This was just my thoughts. Every time some one has to get histerical when some one replys to one of these threads.

I certainly did not think I was "hysterical", nor was I trying to "pick an argument". If I came across that way to you then I apologize. I was simply trying to keep someone from being misled by incorrect information.

I have not heard of an owner's signature being placed in unreadable cursive on the forearm of a cue, so I misunderstood you and did not realize you thought that was actually the case on this cue as well as on your own cue. It would be even more unusual for the same owner's signature to be on multiple cues out there so I did not think that was what you meant.

Hopefully by now you have realized that you were given incorrect information about your own cue and that it was not made by Krick. It was apparently a cue that Chester had not RE-finished yet. If it has the exact same signature as this one, as you said it does, then your cue was made by Steve Klein, not Chester Krick.

Help Identify

Just got back from Hopkins, so I'm late jumping into this post.
It's my signature and I made the cue. I have one of Chesters early cues and he had at least one of mine. That's probably how it ended up in his shop after his death. He also had a real early re machined point cue I did in around 1999.

i looked at Steve Klein's site and he does some nice work, he made a Bushka looking cue, its a perfect replication of a Bushka from what I could see in the pics, I hope he signed that knock-off. I dont have a problem with him making a copy of a cue but it would be a shame if someone would buy it thinking it was a real Bushka-the stand up thing for him to do is SIGN that cue to protect future buyers. It is a beatiful cue for sure.
