Ok Cue makers. How are logos done on the butt caps ala schon, Ed Prewitt, etc. Are they etched in somehow and if so how? Is it done with a metal stamp? Also are there other ways to do a logo like some kind of screening? A little birdie tells me Dave Sutton may know the answer to this one. Anybody? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?:grin-square:

They're done with an engraving bit or .005 thou bit. A fourth axis is usually not needed. CNCed or pantograph.

here is a neat trick.

If you are applying it to wood, like maple. You can print your image with a regular Laser printer and iron it on.

Of course, you have to invert your image like a mirror, but it will iron on cleanly. Make sure you use a laser printer. You know, one that uses toner, not ink like in an inkjet printer.
