Mezz=Hawaian word for for "Pezz"
Schon=German word meaning "long wait"
Viking=Word describing a Scandanavian leaving for U.S.
PFD=Purcasing Formulates Divorce
Joss=short for..... Just Overspend Some Silver
Josswest=Just Overspend Some Siver out West

I got the name "Sugartree" from the place I was born, "Sugartree Hollow". It's an old growth forest property that has been in my family for as long as anybody knows. It's called Sugartree Hollow because it's a small, hidden valley nestled in the Appalachian mountains, and it's full of sugar maple trees. It's just a special place to me & is part of who I am. So when I considered a name for my cues, "Sugartree" just came natural.

Funny you say that. I visited the Black Forest about 5 years ago & looked up a clock maker in the area. He gave me some beautiful Black Forest walnut. I still have not built a cue with it, but someday I will. I also brought back some beech.

How about Black Boar, Rhino,Raven, RAT, Scorpion, Dragon, Bear, Parrot, Spider Web....um...did I miss any other animal world sounding cuemakers?

Mariposa, Osarah, Crown, YAK, Rocket( guessing a play off of Jim Buss), Blue Moon? I'm sure there are a ton of others out there that have nothing to do with their names, that could prove interesting!
