Cue Makers Hall of Fame (-R-)

You are right Timmy made a great cue as well. Jerry as far as I know, and I have known him since 1971, never had anyone teach him to make cues. He did it by trial and error. Timmy had the benefit of learning from another good friend of mine, whom I have also known since 1971...Dan Janes. Both make/made great hand cut infinity points !

I have read all of the posts on this subject to this date.

Someone mentioned Tad Kohara as a possible future member. Not so, because he was inducted this year.

As the Chairman of the American Cuemaker Association's Hall of Fame Committee, I can assure you that everyone mentioned so far are viable candidates. We will not rule anybody out that even comes close to fulfilling the requirements. As the criteria states, the candidate need not fulfill all of the requirements, but if he falls short in one area, he must excel in others. We do not limit eligiblity to ACA members. Everyone will be cosidered.

In addition to those named in these posts, a couple not mentioned are:
Paul Mottey, David Kersenbrock, Samsara, Richard Helmstetter, and Mike Bender.

There are lots of cuemakers that do exceptional work, but will probably not be nominated due to weaknesses in the other criteria. I won't mention them, however.

Thomas Wayne and David Kersenbrock were nominated several times, but the ACA voting membership chose others.
