Cue makers on AZ

Hi all you AZ cue makers out there, I'm looking to get a new playing cue made. After researching woods and narrowing down playing cues and woods in my collection I have a REAL good idea of what I want.

Pau ferro (sp) or Alves wood, 60" players cue, no points, but rings are good, hoppe ring in butt, with no butt cap maybe?, non-stainless steel joint with big pin, Irish linen wrap, 2 shafts at about 12.75, weight not as important as a slightly forward balance.

Thats about what I'm loooking for. I'm open to ideas or maybe you have something like that in stock?

thanx, Gerry

Take a look

go take a look: select 'Cues' off main menu, and look at first cue listed:
It is pretty much what you want, except for wood desired and 2nd shaft for a real reasonable priice.

You may want to revisit the 60" idea (unless you're 7' tall). I think it's Joey Gold who won't make a cue over 57" because he feels it would hurt your game. Plus it may be difficult to sell a 60" cue. I would suggest that you consider a 59" cue instead.

You sir, are correct. My personal playing cue is 57" and shorter cues do indeed play better. Many cuemakers are aware of this issue. ;)

mmm... why do shorter cues play "better"? :) just wanna know the science behind it..
