Cue Question, Bludworth sneaky pete.

Why yes I would......

I have a Blud Sneaky Pete being brought to work for me to look at, I have not seen it yet. Supposedly it is a Cocobolo Sneaky....

I have Zero idea what this would go for, and I may pick it up if it is a good deal. If I don't care for it I may offer it here if it is in as nice a shape as he says.

Can someone give me an idea of a fair purchase price for one of Bluds sneakys in Cocobolo, please...

Thanks in advance.

Blud sells them new for around 200 I believe...depends on how fancy it is though.

Shorty

You can get them brand new on ebay from some guy who sells them for around $175-$200, so I'd say if it's in good condition, offer $100-140 and you should be able to easily get your money back out of it later on....

I bought one for $200 on EBAY. Craftmanship is
pretty pedestrian but it is a very good hitting
stick. My favorite hitting sneaky pete.

Well he just left my house with the cue.....

It is signed Blud 03/2003 and the owner just bought it new 3 weeks ago. It comes with 2 shafts and 1 of them has never been chalked.

The butt is cocobolo and has nickle rings in both the top of the cue and the butt as well as nuckle rings in both shafts. The joint is black linen, and the butt of the cue also has a ring of birdseye maple before the butt cap.

The stick plays Awesome!!! I was very impressed with the amount of spin it produced.

The points are a whole nother issue, although I am not one of them people who really care if the points are close to all the same length or not, but these ****ers are WAY off from being even remotely close. If someone was a stickler for points being close, they really would not be interested in this at all....

So, with that information, does that seem like one of his Fancier sneaky pete's or does that still fall into the $200.00 range of Blud sneakies?

Personally, I really like it and think $200.00 is pretty cheap for this much cue, especially with 2 shafts...

Thanks in advance.

If the cue is dated 3/03, there is a good chance I worked on it at Blud's shop. I worked on about 50 of them when I was there in 3/03. If you purchased a fancy cue from him back then, you could get one for $200. If you just wanted to buy one, it was $350. Not a bad playing cue at all. As far as the points being even, hey, it is a sneaky pete buddy. ENJOY!!!!!

Hmm, could you guys help me acquire a solid-hitting Blud sneaky pete for around $200 ? Btw, does he use radial pin or what is the pin size ? I'd need a solid-hitting cue for those weekly bar-tournaments.

EDIT: oh, doesn't necessarily have to be mint cue, used will do fine, just not many dings please. ;)

I offered him $250.00 for it.

That's what it's worth to me.

We'll see what happens. I "Really" don't care for sneaky Petes, yet this will make my second one:rolleyes:

Right. That's what I was saying about mine.
Looks- C-
Playability- A
