Cue Question.

Hey all,

I have an opportunity to purchase a cue. It's one I'm not familiar with. It's a Lone Star Cue. Looking for any insight as I haven't found anything yet. I'm probably going to buy it as it appears to be a quality well made cue. And the price is right in feel.

But still before laying down the cash in was hoping for a little knowledge.

Thanks

AJ

Killin it in on my Note 3.

The cues look nice. But they may wish to proofread their site a little better.

Ebony with Leather Wrap and Stainless Steel Joint Collar. Points and Inlay done in Micarta and Emboyna Burl. (20.5 oz.): $1050

Never heard of that wood.
I know, I know... but it's my thing.

I picked it up tonight for $250.00 a little bluing on the shaft, and looks like they put a new tip on. but other than that it's dang near flawless. Shoots good. Rolls true. 19.0 oz.
I feel pretty good about the price I payed. Thanks for the links. I'm a little technologically challenged.

Layin em to waste..

How do their service prices rate?

The cues on the site have prices between $450 and $1050.

Do the cues take a month to produce because of the demands of the rest of the business?

I think because they make them by hand. It says no CNC, no computer anything.. I'm no woodworker. So Im not going to say. But maybe that's it. I'd have to think it would be time consuming to widdle a cue.. ;)

Layin em to waste..

I don't know if you guys realize it or not, but the site hasn't been updated since 2007.

The contact page is 2007, but most other pages were 2006.

Georgetown is just a couple hours south of us here in Dallas, and I haven't heard anything about them in a long time. They may not be building any longer.
