Cue recommendation for a kid.

My son has taken an interest in playing pool he's 8 and about 4 feet tall. Regular cues are too big for him any reccomendations on a shorter cue?

Well, if Earl Strickland is 5'10" and uses a 10 foot cue, simply do the math.

There are junior size players or action cues. If the cue is too long for him, what about the table length and height? Although I must say my son started with a regular size cue when he was 8 and it wasn't a problem.

generally a cue slightly shorter than you are tall works as a starting point. as a person gets a little better then he can pick what feels right.
