Cue Refinisher Recommendations

I have a 20+ year old Helmstetter that I want to have refinished, including replacing the Irish linen with a lizard skin wrap.

Please let me know your recommendations for a cue refinisher that is accomplished as well as being reasonable about costs (and accepts Paypal).

You'll probably get a 50/50 between Ryan from Muellers and Scott from Proficient.

Both do excellent restorations. I have seen more of Ryan's than Scott's myself and Ryan does some wild stuff.

But, both are excellent. Each is very reasonably priced.

Ryan is a member here and he contributes as much as he can in the Ask The Cue Maker Forum.

You will get the same result from either or, plus or minus a bit on price, but myself, I would support the AZ member that contributes and helps out the people here.

Maybe a little biased but just my opinion.

Anything that I need done that I can't do myself, I would gladly send to Ryan.
 
Refinishing

A friend and I recently had some work done by Scott at Proficient. The work was reasonably well done and the prices were reasonable (some parts a little more expensive, some less). I will definitely be having more work done by him, but he's somewhat local to me and I can drop it off and talk to him.

I had another friend who had a rewrap done by Ryan at SBE, he was very happy with the job.

Honestly, I doubt you could go wrong with either one.

Haven't had a personal experience, but every time this question is asked, Proficient seems to be the number 1 answer.
 
I can also attest for Scot at Proficient. He worked on a Joss West for me. He did a great job, was reasonably priced and had a quick turnaround time. I was very pleased.
 
Thank You, All, for your helpful suggestions and comments. For several reasons I'm going to go with Muellers.

I'll post before and after pics, as soon as I can.

Muellers should be fine. I used Proficient. Did a fabulous job.
