anyone know any good refinshers that isnt ryan theewen or scot from proficient?
Ryan is one of the best but he's too busy and takes forever(the last one I did took two months almost but it did come out better than when it was new) and scot doesn't do the wrap I want so I'm looking to find someone trustworthy and good and quick. the one guy in NYC I know has retarded prices and I'm not gonna spend that kind of money. I also need the pin changed. thanks all for reply.
 
One of the top finishes I've ever seen on a cue is from Mike Webb but he can be busy also. His finish is tough, a friend of mine dropped his cue on the side of a table, no mark on it, and his dog chewed on the cue and there were only a couple of small marks on the finish, not even a crack.
 
When I need a refinish and a shaft or other cue work I use Rick Howard.

His prices are excellent, the finish is top notch.

I can attest to Bob Owen.....sent him a beat up player cue butt......refinish included new cue butt, changing joint from 5/16x14 steel to 3/8x10 flat ivory, re-wrap & 2 new shafts........he did an amazing job.
