Cue repair...What am I missing?

- paint spray gun (a good one)
- Clear varnish, thinner etc
- compressor
- respirator or aircleaner, or even better both
- pencil/welding torch
- enough medical tape :-)

and a warning sign saying that a lathe, mill and grinder are not toys !

Magic

Magic Erasers are a must, long lasting and help with cleaning shafts. You can usually find PVC/plastic tubing at local Lowes or Home Depot, cut a slit in them, decent for a make shift collets for protecting ferrules etc. Pick up some Delrin and experiment making your own collets, jigs. Pick up a razor blade rest in Cue Machinery and Supplies from Chuck Pilegas

Just a few ideas, hope it helps.
