im looking for a compotent technician to repair a cue of mine. i recently aquired my first cue that was once stolen. it has been through hell. the butt/forearm section doesnt roll uniformaly. has a wobble. my observation seems that is originates at the joint. also, the butt cap isnt flush with the section between the butt cap and where the wrap starts. furthermore, it will need refinished and rewrapped.

could someone tell me a proficient repair person and an approximate cost?

thank you for your time and knowledge.

Hi John:
I would contact the Original Cue maker first, my next option, seeing you used the word proficient and you happen to live in PA, I would call Scott at Proficient billiards. http://www.proficientbilliards.com/
Hope this helps.

It was nice of Mike to suggest someone else, but Mike is a top notch cue-repairman also, and one or two day ground service by UPS.

Thanks Chris, I always plug the local boys as a rule after the original cue maker, if someone called me from your area, I would refer you before myself. We're all in it together and there is plenty of work to go around.

That is pure class and a true respect for your fellow cue makers !!!
