I recently bought this cue from Fast_N_Loose. I went out to our local water hole with it yesterday and tryed it out on the bar box. I felt from the time I unpacked it and just held and admired it, I was gonna like it. :) I was not disappointed.:D Crisp, clean hitting. 1st ivory jointed cue I've stroked. I haven't been on a table in 3 or 4 months:o man... this Tex cue is great. Within a rack or two it all came roaring back:D :D
I took on a couple of the local league hotshots and took them both down at thier own local goofball 8 ball rules..... Thanks Marcus. Real sweet player here.......:) :)

I'm Glad You Like It. I Think I May Have A Line On Another If Anyone Is Interested.

I do like it.:) I've never played with one like this. Always used the house sticks back when I was out hustlin games. Best stick I ever owned was the McD I won years ago. Well, had a few Adams, Meucci's and a few Joss but they were all production cues. This is like a Cadillac...... I appreciate finding this venue and all I read here. Lot of great folks here and I appreciate the opportunity to participate. My thanks to all of you here.

May favorite area of that cue is the veneer work and how he finished them off prior to the head of the point, very unique. That was the first Tex cue I have seen and have become a fan of them.

You are very observant Ian, and quite correct. They are very unique in thier construction. I have never seen anything like them in my limited experience. This is one unique cue in my mind. The balance is really good, it lays in the hand like it is made for it. The most interesting thing for me is the ease of the stroke, meaning it seems effortless when you stroke through the cue ball and the position following the shot is right on the money. Truely awesome. I am very impressed with this cue.

Whomever Tex is, or was, he is a craftsman.......

the way the points are made with the veneers was Tex's trademark design!

Looked at Marcus' input on Tex. Apparent to me this person is a meticulas craftsman. Looking at the cue I have then looking at the one Bama just put up for sale makes me believe I have gotten a tremendous deal with this cue. Additionally, Chris' input just reinforces this belief. Again, I couldn't be more pleased. Reviewing in my mind today my play of friday with this cue tells me I've scored a winner here. Believe I'll be keeping this one for a while. Thanks all for your input.

I know it is trademark design, but I think that it adds a more appealing visual aspect to the cue because you do not see it from others.

Could you post more and a little larger pictures. Would love to see the cue and the veneer work you are speaking of ????

Thanks, Ray

Thanks Rick, Pretty cue!!! That's got to take some time to add the non veneered reversed point to the front of the points. Nice work!!!! Enjoy your cue.

Thanks, Ray

I am enjoying it, thanks. Yeah I think it is pretty spectacular. Turns heads in public.

Hi everybody! I'm Tex

Hi everybody! I'm Tex.
First I want to say thanks for all the great comments made about my cues, I must say that I am flattered. it seems that I am one of the best kept secrets in the pool cue industry. a fact that I take full credit for. As one of you said in this forum that the [inverted points] is a trade mark design, that is correct. There are several other distinguishing features about my cues which are unique. If anyone is interested in learning what they are I will be happy to list them, and-or answer any other questions. But for now I don't want to turn this introduction into an autobiography, so once again thanks for the interest and keep on strokin.
